About Us

We are Michael and Teresa, the founders of SPG Europa. Michael is a Texas native and Teresa is Italian, born and raised in Belgium. We met each other in 2001 in Europe and have been inseparable ever since. Beyond being life partners for two decades, we've also proven to be exceptional business partners.

The inception of SPG Europa came from Michael's desire to give back to the military community, driven by his experience as a US Army veteran. The initial concept focused on providing more housing around military installations, offering peace of mind to military personnel renting homes in both US territory and abroad. SPG, which stands for Serenity Property Group, officially started its journey in 2011 with the launch of its first long-term rental in Texas. The success quickly extended to renting out a property to a military affiliate in Belgium, setting in motion a chain that reached Germany and returned to Texas.

The ambitions didn't stop there. In March 2023, we realized our dream of establishing our first vacation home, Maison Majestique. The momentum continued with the launch of a second short-term rental, Ekhaya Zavannah, in July 2023.
